On May 21, at the Asia Pacific Climate Action Summit held in Singapore, Qinneng Datong Super Energy Complex was selected into China’s first batch of RE100 Pioneer Industrial Development Zones under the RE100 Ready IDZ Initiative. The selection was jointly launched by Climate Group and Electric Power Planning & Engineering Institute (EPPEI).

Co-initiated by Climate Group and CDP, the RE100 initiative stands as one of the world’s most influential renewable electricity consumption campaigns. It unites over 430 leading global enterprises including Apple, Google and Microsoft, driving the global transition to 100% renewable power. The RE100 Ready IDZ Initiative marks the first expansion of RE100 green transition practices from corporate level to industrial parks, serving as a key international cooperation project supporting China’s plan to build 100 national-level zero-carbon parks during the 15th Five-Year Plan period.
As one of China’s inaugural pioneer zones, Qinneng Datong Super Energy Complex centers on the vertically integrated computing-power-energy synergy model. It pioneers innovative paths for computing infrastructure such as direct green power access and vertical industrial integration, showcasing international achievements of Chinese enterprises in building synergistic computing-energy facilities and integrated industrial ecosystems.
The accolade secures international authoritative recognition for the complex’s operational model. It also enables Qinneng to deeply participate in formulating standards and admission rules under the RE100 IDZ Initiative. The company strives to elevate China’s influence in global computing-energy coordination and zero-carbon park development, contributing Chinese wisdom and practical models to the green transformation of industrial parks worldwide.
