Recently, the review results for Shanxi Province's 2022 competitive allocation of wind and photovoltaic power generation projects, along with projects supporting the new energy industry development, were officially released. The review identified a total of 132 wind and solar projects, with a combined capacity of 14.18 GW. BCI Group's Tianzhen Qinyun 100MW photovoltaic power generation project was successfully selected.

Upon completion and operation, the Tianzhen Qinyun 100MW project is expected to provide approximately 140 million kWh of green electricity annually for local digital economy transformation and the construction of an integrated source-grid-load-storage system. This is equivalent to saving about 45,700 tons of standard coal per year, corresponding to an annual reduction of 114,100 tons of carbon dioxide emissions as defined by the UN's "Towards a Pollution-Free Planet" implementation plan.

To date, the total contracted development scale for renewable energy power generation under BCI Group's Super Energy Complex initiative in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei-Shanxi region has reached 1.5 GW. The industrial model of BCI Group's Super Energy Complex, with renewable energy investment at its core, is steadily being implemented.

The Super Energy Complex industrial model aims to foster a zero-carbon green industrial cluster centered around the Greater Capital Region. It anchors its business in five key areas: renewable energy investment, the Super Energy Complex industrial platform, a white-box zero-carbon equipment supply chain, full-lifecycle delivery of new infrastructure, and IT & network value-added services. By vertically integrating foundational resources essential for digital economy development—such as energy, land, municipal utilities, and supply chains—and actively practicing the construction of an integrated source-grid-load-storage-regulation system, it provides a high-value foundational platform for the transformational development of local digital economy industries.

Currently, in renewable energy investment, BCI Qinyun Infrastructure is striving to achieve the timely grid connection of the Guangling Qinyun centralized renewable energy power generation base, overcoming challenges such as compressed timelines due to public health events. Regarding the white-box zero-carbon equipment supply chain, the supporting high-end server equipment manufacturing project commenced trial operations in the third quarter of 2022.

BCI Group will continue to base itself in Shanxi, take root in Datong, adhere to the principles of long-termism and open (inclusive access), persistently allocate foundational resources, implement their advance development, and commit to offering them to industrial partners at zero premium. This empowers the long-term localized value of digital infrastructure and contributes to accelerating the green transformation of entire industrial chains in cities where the Super Energy Complex is being implemented.
